Julie joined Grail last Fall as the VP of Marketing overseeing all global marketing efforts, on the heels of serving NewAge as Chief Marketing Officer. GRAIL is a healthcare company whose mission is to detect cancer early, when it can be cured. GRAIL is focused on saving lives and improving health by pioneering new technologies for early cancer detection. The company is using the power of next-generation sequencing, population-scale clinical studies, and state-of-the-art computer science and data science to overcome one of medicine’s greatest challenges with Galleri™, GRAIL’s multi-cancer early detection blood test that has just launched in the US.

Prior to NewAge, Julie was CMO for Shaklee Corporation, where she was hired by the CEO to revitalize the brand story, lead product innovation and drive acquisition of new sales leaders and consumers, building on her similar experience as SVP, Marketing for Rodan & Fields, where she helped the business scale from $625M to $1.5B in revenue over three years. Prior to R&F, she held a variety of Marketing positions, of increasing responsibility, for blue chip CPG companies (Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo, Torani) and world class healthcare companies (Allergan, J&J, Obagi, Nuvesse). Julie earned her BA in Anthropology from University of California, Berkeley, and she earned her MBA from the Columbia Business School.
