Amirah Al Idrus is an editor with the Life Sciences group covering biotech, medtech and occasionally, biotech research. She started her career at The Center for Public Integrity, where she was on a team that earned an Al Neuharth Innovation in Investigative Award for their work covering how companies profit from the privatization of prisons. When she’s not working, Amirah spends her time playing rugby, trying to keep her plants alive and baking (and eating) pies.
